Shukhrat Kayumov appointed rector of the newly established Cyber University
Kayumov will lead the new institution, which will specialize in education and retraining in the fields of cybersecurity, digital economy, and artificial intelligence.

A graduate of Tashkent State Technical University and Tashkent State Economic University, Shukhrat Kayumov also pursued studies at leading universities in Germany and Japan.
Previously, he served as the head of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
It is worth noting that a presidential decree "On the Establishment of the State Cyber University" was issued on January 20, 2025. The new university is set to train and develop specialists in cybersecurity, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence.
