One dead in Samarkand after food poisoning

According to the regional health department, on February 7, I.E. (born in 2001), living in Mingtepa mahalla of the district, was brought to the district medical association in an ambulance. After a medical examination, he was diagnosed with botulism.

During the medical check, it was found out that the patient visited his villager A.T. one day before the incident and ate home-made canned food there. It is reported that A.T., his wife G.T., son Sh.T., and his other neighbor B.B. were also hospitalized with the same diagnosis.

Despite intensive treatment, the health condition of 20-year-old I.E. worsened and he died on February 8 at 03:30.

The other patients are currently being treated in the intensive care unit. The health condition of Sh.T. is critical. He is being treated with a respirator.
