However, deceiving Muslim worshippers who wished to contribute to the restoration of the holy place, they were sending funds to Syria.

In addition, some of the detainees contacted their counterparts in Syria to plan their departure to that country after the quarantine restrictions had been lifted.

At present, investigations in the case continues and criminal proceedings instituted under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
