Government allows business entities to install traffic cameras and radars on roads
Business entities can install special automated means of fixing traffic violations, follows from the presidential decree “On additional measures to attract the private sector in the areas regulated by the state”.

According to the document, in the field of road safety, starting from March 1, 2021, business entities will be given the right to organize the installation of special automated software and hardware on highways for photo and video recording of traffic violations.
Assigning to business entities the places of installation of special automated software and hardware for photo and video recording is carried out by conducting electronic auctions.
These places will be assigned to business entities that win the electronic auction for an unlimited period of time and with the right to transfer it to another business entity.
It is noted that in 2021-2022, 3,356 smart video cameras and 763 stationary radars will be installed throughout the republic.
