Astrakhan region ready to attract around 10 thousand labor migrants from Uzbekistan in 2021
The Astrakhan region is ready to receive about 10 thousand labor migrants for agricultural work in 2021, said the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the region Ruslan Pashayev during negotiations with representatives of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan and the khokimiyat of the Khorezm region.

In addition, the region needs workers for fish processing plants and construction facilities.
According to the press service of the regional administration, by the number of labor migrants legally working in the Astrakhan region, Uzbekistan ranks first.
Following the negotiations, the parties plan to develop directives for interaction in the field of labor migration, resolving issues of seasonal employment.
