Vadim Abramov names 28-player roster for upcoming friendlies against Syria and Iraq

The national team of Uzbekistan is preparing for the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers, the UFA official website said.

The Uzbekistan national team will hold a training camp from November 6 to 18 in Tashkent and Dubai. Head coach Vadim Abramov invited 28 players to the training session. An international friendly match against the national teams of Syria and Iraq is planned as part of the training.

On November 6, representatives of the national team will gather in Tashkent and start their training. After gathering all the members of the team, on the morning of November 9, the delegation of the national team of Uzbekistan will depart for the UAE.

Uzbekistan will play a friendly match against Syria on November 12. The next friendly match will be held on November 17 against Iraq.
