“Vehicles violating quarantine rules will be placed in penalty area” – Administrative Responsibility Code amended
The President has signed the law on introducing amendments to the Administrative Responsibility Code, the Ministry of Justice reported.

According to the document, administrative cases related to violations of the rules for combating epidemics (Article 54) can now be considered by law enforcement bodies as well.
Law enforcement bodies have the right to consider cases and impose administrative penalties only if there is a quarantine measure in force at places.
Also, in case of violating the second part of Article 54 (violation of traffic restrictions) under quarantine conditions by drivers, vehicles can be detained by law enforcement bodies until administrative proceedings are instituted.
The law comes into force from the date of its official publication.
