“The news that you and First Lady Melania Trump have been infected with the coronavirus deeply concerned me.
I am confident that in a short period of time you will be able to successfully overcome this virus and recover, return to your good health and continue your responsible state activity.
Dear Mr. President, I wish you and Melania Trump good health, peace of mind and strength in this difficult time.
Sincerely yours,
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the letter reads.
Trump said on Thursday he and his wife Melania had tested positive for COVID-19 and were in quarantine, after Hope Hicks, one of his closest advisers, tested positive for the disease that has killed more than 200,000 people in the United States.
