On August 12, at the regular meeting of the International Press Club, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Uzokboy Begimkulov, announced the procedure for taking exams by master’s degree applicants.
They will be able to take online exams in special places, organized in each region.
“The applicants will not need to go to Tashkent,” said the Deputy Minister.
For more information, Kun.uz correspondent contacted Bakhriddin Shayvaliyev, a member of the Information Service of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education. He noted that those who applied for graduate courses, regardless of the university, will be taking an online test on a computer in special places available in each region.
These places have all the necessary equipment and fully observe health and hygiene regulations.
“Major higher education institutions will develop the test according to the fields of study and ensure the confidentiality of the tests. Applicants in this field will pass the same test regardless of which higher education institution they choose. For example, for different pedagogical universities, the entrance tests will be the same.
Many people misinterpreted the information concerning exams being held online, thinking that anyone could pass the test wherever they wish to. However, in that case, it will not be possible to ensure transparency. Therefore, we organize special places for the examination,” said Bakhriddin Shayvaliyev.
