“Uzbekistan is studying vaccines produced in Russia and China” – Member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff
Today, August 11, at the AIMC briefing, information was provided on the ongoing negotiations on the coronavirus vaccine.

“Currently, research is being conducted on vaccines produced in Russia and China. Today, Chinese and Uzbek experts exchanged views via videoconference on the process of using the vaccine produced in China. Based on the results of these negotiations, we will inform the government about the level of vaccine use in the country,” Rustam Ikramov, a member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff, said.
He also commented on the effectiveness of the Chinese anti-coronavirus medicine Lianhua Qinwen.
“This medicine was donated to Uzbekistan by China. It has been studied in our country on the basis of relevant norms and the necessary conclusions have been drawn on the active ingredients in its composition. The medicine is currently being used to treat coronavirus patients at the hospital in Zangiota,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted Ikramov as saying.
It should be recalled that at the videoconference with the participation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 4, the President instructed to thoroughly study the purchase of vaccines and ways to implement vaccination of the population.
Today, August 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the world’s first coronavirus vaccine has been registered in Russia.
