It has been reported that some private clinics have increased the cost of coronavirus tests to 400,000 soums. Previously, the testing cost 200 - 250,000 soums.
“The activity of private clinics is controlled by the Licensing Office of the Ministry of Health,” said the Chief State Sanitary Inspector Nurmat Otabekov during the briefing at the AIMC.
He stated that if there are such cases of unreasonable price increases, people should report the address and name of the clinic to the Ministry of Health.
It was previously reported that the average cost of a coronavirus test in Uzbekistan is 224,000 soums.
