Alisher Sadullayev resigns as Deputy Advisor to the President to chair new Youth Agency
Alisher Sadullayev has been appointed Director of the Youth Agency.

The Youth Union of Uzbekistan was replaced by a newly created Youth Agency. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the relevant decree on June 30.
The tasks of the new department include standard-setting, educational and awareness-raising work, protecting the rights of young people, assisting them in obtaining foreign education, as well as searching for work abroad and etc. The Agency shall make decisions within the limits of its competence, and these decisions will be mandatory for all state bodies, organizations and officials involved in the implementation of youth policy.
According to the Presidential decree, Alisher Saadullayev, former head of the Youth Union Central Board, has been appointed Director of the Youth Agency. He also resigned as First Deputy Advisor to the President on Youth, Science, Education, Health and Sports.
Alisher Sadullayev was born in 1994. He graduated from the Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent.
In July 2017, he became the youngest Deputy Minister in the country, when he was appointed Deputy Minister of Education.
