Tajikistan sends building materials to Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan to help mitigate consequences of the flood

The Government of Tajikistan has sent humanitarian aid to the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan to help mitigate the consequences of the recent flood, Khovar reports with reference to the press service of the Sughd region administration.
Humanitarian aid consists of 51 freight cars, mainly including building materials: cement, slate, paint, nails and other necessary accessories.
The assistance will be aimed at eliminating the consequences of the recent disaster, as a result of which the dam of the Sardoba reservoir was broken and huge damage was caused to the national economy.
