“Quarantine regime violators were fined in the amount of 45.8 billion soums by April 27” – Otabekov
As of April 27, 71,028 cases of violation of the quarantine regime were registered in Uzbekistan. Employees of the internal affairs bodies imposed fines on the violators in the amount of 45.8 billion soums, head of the State Inspection for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Nurmat Otabekov said.

Protocols on violation of sanitary rules and hygiene standards are drawn up on the basis of Article 54 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
“Since the beginning of quarantine to April 27, employees of the State Inspection, Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard drew up 71,028 protocols on violation of sanitary rules and hygiene standards by people who did not wear masks and violated the quarantine regime. Fine in the amount of 45.8 billion soums was imposed on them, 14 billion soums of which has been collected so far,” Otabekov said.
50% of the funds received are transferred to the state budget, the remaining 50% to the Ministry of Interior, he added.
