President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Republican Special Commission for combatting coronavirus to return Uzbek citizens on charter flights.
In particular, on March 24-27 there will be 4 flights operated every day from Moscow, Russian Federation (at 17:00 local time RF);
There will be 2 flights from Istanbul, Turkey, on March 24 and 27 (at 23:00 local time).
There will also be a charter flight (time to be determined) from Seoul, Republic of Korea on March 29.
Similarly, next week Uzbekistan will continue to bring back Uzbeks who are in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Istanbul, and Dubai on charter flights.
“Considering the fact that the crew members should be kept under quarantine for safety purposes and that the Special Commission is taking urgent measures to eliminate this problem as soon as possible, citizens of Uzbekistan in foreign countries are asked to be patient.
All passengers of these charter flights will undergo checking for coronavirus according to the requirements set by the Special Commission and will be kept under quarantine for 14 days in sanatoriums and other places in different regions of the country.
