Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan to visit Uzbekistan in March
Turkish Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan will visit Tashkent on March 12-13, the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov said.

“A large government delegation led by Turkish Minister of Trade, Ruhsar Pekcan, will visit our country on March 12-13,” he said.
On the agenda of the visit there are negotiations on an agreement concerning preferential trade. Representatives of Turkish business circles are also expected to visit.
To note, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Turkey on February 19-20, where, for the first time, a meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council at the highest level was held under the chairmanship of President Mirziyoyev and President Erdoğan.
During the visit, according to Umurzakov, parties reached an agreement on the implementation of new investment projects and trade contracts worth more than $1 billion.
It is expected that by the end of 2020, the countries will bring bilateral trade up to $3 billion, and subsequently - up to $5 billion.
