Uzbekistan to double state grants for students

During the event, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Uzoqboy Begimkulov said that admission to higher educational institutions on the basis of state grant will be increased.
“This year, the state grants will be doubled. They will be mostly allocated for students applying for mathematics, chemistry and geology courses.
We cannot say that this year universities will simplify the admission tests. They are quite easy, not difficult,” he said.
Earlier, it was reported that it is planned to simplify the admission exams to universities.
