Aziz Abdukhakimov reappointed head of State Tourism Committee

Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov will chair the State Committee for Tourism Development.
This became known today, January 22, during a meeting in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
Reportedly, during the event, Aziz Abdukhakimov was presented as a candidate for the post of Deputy PM and Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development. The committee is currently chaired by Abdulaziz Akkulov.
It should be recalled that in May 2018, he was appointed deputy prime minister and resigned as chairman of the State Tourism Committee.
On August 23, during a video-conference meeting, devoted to the development of the public education system, advanced training and strengthening the role of teachers in society, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that Aziz Abdukhakimov would deal exclusively with education, training, tourism and sports.
