Asadjon Khodjayev has been appointed the head of the State Inspection for Control in the field of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, Khodjayev worked as Director of the Center for Information Security and Assistance in Public Order under the Ministry for the ICT Development.
Asadjon Khodjayev was born on September 3, 1970 in the Chimkent Oblast of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1993, he graduated from Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communication, in 2001 – the Academy of State Construction. He is a telecommunication engineer, master of economics.
In 2017, he worked as head of the prime minister’s office, deputy state adviser to the president and head of the president’s press service, in 2017-2018 – the first deputy head of the scientific-educational memorial complex named after Islam Karimov.
