Can a family of five live for 2.5 million soums in Tashkent? PDPU official comments on the party leader’s statement
Today, November 13, during a meeting at the international press center of the CEC, sector head of the Central Council at the People’s Democratic Party (PDPU) Ravshan Khomitov commented on a recent statement voiced by Ulugbek Inoyatov, the party leader.

Inoyatov, on November 10, at a talk show “Democratic debates”, said that in Tashkent, one breadwinner, receiving a salary of 2.5 million soums per month, can easily feed a family of five.
According to Khomitov, when Ulugbek Inoyatov made the above statement, he had in mind only food expenses.
“Ulugbek Ilyasovich, the leader of our political party, did not mean all expenses for one family, he wanted to say that 2.5 million soums would be enough for a family of five only for food,” Khomitov noted.
The statement of Ulugbek Inoyatov caused a heated discussion on social networks.
