Uzbekistan, PRC reach agreement on export of chili peppers to Chinese market

The State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate of Uzbekistan and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GASC) signed a protocol on phytosanitary requirements for exporting chili peppers from Uzbekistan to the PRC.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, in cooperation with the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate and other departments of the republic, has taken appropriate measures related to the development of technical information for the analysis of the phytosanitary risk of chili pepper.
Chili peppers, exported from Uzbekistan to China, must comply with sanitary and hygienic standards, phytosanitary measures and requirements envisaged in the protocol.
