MGIMO branch in Tashkent announces start of admission process

Admission to the Tashkent branch of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) is now officially open for both bachelor's and master's degree applicants.

According to the press service of the MFA, this university will operate in accordance with the agreement on the organization of the MGIMO branch in Uzbekistan, which was signed between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and MGIMO in October 2018 as part of the first Uzbek-Russian Educational Forum, as well as relevant presidential decree.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

- application;

- questionnaire;

- ID: original + notarized translation of the 1st page + copy of the 1st page;

- document on education with the appendix, where the items and final grades are indicated: originals + notarized translations + copies (if the certificate is of the Russian type - you need the original + notarized copies + regular copies);

- application for nostrification of a foreign education certificate (before submitting the documents, it is important to check whether the education certificate from your country needs consular legalization or apostille);

- medical documents:

•  medical reference 086-U with information about chronic diseases,

•  certificate of absence of HIV infection,

•  research result on RW (syphilis),

•  research result on the hepatitis B, 

•  a medical report on vaccinations, sealed by the medical institution with the dates of vaccinations,

•  conclusion about x-ray fluorography.

- 6 matte photos of size 3 × 4.

Documents can be submitted for the bachelor's degree from June 15 to July 1 (Business informatics) and for Master's - from June 15 to July 20 (Jurisprudence and Business Informatics). 

Bachelor applicants will need to pass entrance examinations in Russian, foreign languages (English, French or German) and mathematics.

Entrance tests for enrollment in the master's degree include a portfolio (package of documents) and a motivation letter.

The number of seats in each field of study with payment of tuition fees for the academic year 2019/2020 is set as 25.
