In accordance with the Gov't decrees No.488 and No.489 of June 11, 2019, Shakhrisabz branches of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology have been established. The Telegram-channel “Legal information” reports about it.

Reportedly, the educational process in these branches begins from the academic year 2019/2020 and the quota for admission of students is determined in accordance with the established order at higher educational institutions.

Also, composition of the Trusteeship Council of these affiliates has been confirmed.

The buildings of the Shahrisabz academic lyceum under the Karshi State University were transferred to the branch of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami and the building of the Shakhrisabz College of Light Industry - to the Tashkent Chemical and Technological Institute branch.

It is noted that pupils of this academic lyceum and vocational college continue their education at the Branch buildings until their graduation.
