In the colony of the Buka district, Tashkent region, a prisoner bludgeoned his fellow to death, “Toshkent hakikati” reports.

According to the newspaper, the two prisoners could not get along well with each other, and as a result the conflict began.

“The prisoner was on the phone talking to an unknown woman. Another prisoner reported this to his wife. As a result, they quarreled. The convict beat the other man with a stick as a result of which the latter died,” the publication said.

A criminal case was initiated against the prisoner under Article 97 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
