On May 31, the President of Uzbekistan received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary – Zurab Abdushelishvili of Georgia, Daniel Rosenblum of the United States and Kang Jae Kwon of the Republic of Korea.

The US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, who started his diplomatic mission in our country, spoke about the prospects for cooperation with Uzbekistan:

- I arrived in your beautiful country last week. During my mission, I will focus on finding new areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, supporting the reform program in your country. A significant work has been done between our countries in the fields of agriculture and economy. In the future, we have planned to consistently continue cooperation in the field of improving education and legislation.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pays special attention to attracting investments to Uzbekistan and developing tourism. We also have made huge plans to invest in the economy of Uzbekistan. In June, a delegation from the representatives of large US companies is expected to visit your country. This mission will discuss the issues of further strengthening trade-economic and investment ties with Uzbek entrepreneurs. Mutually beneficial agreements will be concluded. Certainly, the support of your country’s economy will have a positive impact on the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
