On the collective reference portal “My opinion”, a petition on the establishment of a university in Uzbekistan specialized in training civil aviation personnel, including pilots has been announced.

It was noted that Uzbekistan is currently developing rapidly and worthwhile results have been achieved in every aspect.

“The population is growing day by day, and the need for passenger transportation, including the need for the use of air transportation is growing. Over the past period, consistent measures have been taken to develop the civil aviation industry, renovate the aircraft fleet, ensure high level of flight safety, and improve airport infrastructure, including train qualified personnel. At the same time, there is a high demand for highly qualified and experienced pilots, stewards and stewardesses, engineers-mechanics,” the petitioner writes.

Therefore, it is necessary to open a university in the Republic of Uzbekistan specialized in training and retraining civil aviation personnel.

“These proposals should be applied to our practice by studying foreign experience,” the petition says.
