The concept of a new master plan for Tashkent will be developed by the end of May 2019, not in April as previously reported, Kun.uz correspondent said.
As the capital's administration told Kun.uz, according to the Presidential Administration instructions of February 1, alternative versions of the master plan concept will be developed until May 20 of this year.
“At present, relevant works are underway. Alternative versions of the master plan concept will be presented at the end of May,” the representative of the administration said.
It should be recalled that in mid-February, the first deputy khokim of the capital Davron Khidoyatov noted that the master plan of Tashkent was developed in 2014.
“A lot of things have changed in two years, so it is not considered as actual as we would like it to be. Three international companies are currently working on it: Turkish, Chinese and British. By the end of April, the concept of a master plan for Tashkent will be ready,” Khidoyatov said then.
The development of a master plan for Tashkent with participation of foreign companies is stipulated in President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s decree signed last year.
