Over 50 public toilets equipped with Wi-Fi to be built in a year in Tashkent

Two automated public toilets of European quality began operating in the Yakkasaray and Shaykhantaur districts of Tashkent, the city administration said.
By the end of the year, Tashkent authorities promise to commission 61 such facilities.
“As you know, the number of tourists is growing every day. In turn, we are trying to create all amenities for a comfortable stay in our country. One of the directions is implementation of this project: to open a network of automated bio-toilets of European quality, the points are also equipped with free Wi-Fi,” the Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Committee Saidakbarkhon Akbarov said.
As part of the ongoing project, which is included in the 2019 investment program, special attention is paid to creation of separate comfortable conditions for mother and child, as well as for people with disabilities, the administration noted. Free services can be used by staff of the city beautification service and people with disabilities.
The main advantage and difference of bio facilities from others is that they do not require the supply of sewage and water supply systems and work in a closed cycle in such a way that recycling of sewage takes place inside the structure of the cabin itself.
