Uzbek government to introduce changes to the rules of customs control on international mail and courier shipment

On the portal of discussions of draft normative-legislative acts, a draft decree of the State Customs Committee “On modification of paragraph 5.6 of the rules of customs control on international mail and courier deliveries” was placed.
In accordance with the document, the paragraph 5.6 of the rules of customs control on international mail and courier shipments, approved under registration 02 / 20-12 by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 7, 2000 (Exporters are entitled to export goods, works and services through Internet-shops without having to pay their bills in the banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan and after entering into the unique electronic information system of Foreign Trade Operations, the goods can be sold through the e-commerce system without the conclusion of export contracts, except for the cases stipulated by the legislation) including Part 2 (goods up to 3000 US dollars without entering into a single electronic information system of foreign trade operations and without customs clearance declaration can be sold according to the postal service rules) is edited as below:
“While exporting goods (services) up to five thousand US dollars per invoice through the Internet that are paid through the international payment system, it is not required to conclude a written agreement with the buyer. It is allowed to carry out the cargo declaration without registration for all legal entities and individuals without the need to enter information into the Single Foreign Trade Operations Electronic Information System.”
It was noted that this amendment was agreed with the Ministry of IT and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
