Regional governor of Khorezm region Farkhod Ermanov becomes a senator
Following the joint meeting of the Senate of Oliy Majlis on December 26, Farkhod Ermanov was registered as a senator, the Central Election Commission’s press service reported.
Acting khokim of Khorezm region Farhod Ermanov was appointed Khorezm region’s khokim on November 30, 2018 upon the recommendation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Prior to that, Farkhod Ermanov had served as Karakalpakstan's Minister of Agriculture and Water Management and governor of “Beruniy” district. Early in 2018, he had been appointed an acting regional governor of Khorezm.
