Vladimir Putin: Total GDP of EAUE member states increased by 2% in the first half of 2018

Cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union is developing, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in a narrow format held in St Petersburg.
According to Mr. Putin, the total GDP of the member states increased by 2% in the first half of 2018, industrial output and agriculture rose by 3.3%, 2.4% respectively.
Trade turnover inside the Union grew by 12% and reached the mark of $44 billion, while its growth with foreign partners was recorded as 21% mainly due to the growth of exports.
