According to the regulator, scammers are placing advertisements in popular Telegram channels, promising instant loan approvals. They lure users into fake bots, where they are asked to fill out a form and then directed to contact a so-called manager. This "manager" typically requests confidential information, such as bank card details or verification codes, or prompts the victim to install a malicious application. These actions ultimately lead to the theft of funds from the userās account.
The Central Bank urges citizens to exercise caution and not to trust such offers. It reminds the public that official loans are only provided by licensed banks and microfinance institutions.
