Mirsaid Mirmaksudov stated that control measures are being conducted to dismantle illegally placed ATMs. He emphasized that these efforts, carried out in collaboration with the Central Bank, will continue on a regular basis.
“I don’t have exact figures at the moment on how many ATMs we’ve dismantled and removed so far. However, the work is being performed consistently. This can be confirmed by the Central Bank or commercial banks,” Mirmaksudov noted.
According to data provided by the Central Bank in 2024, the number of ATMs and information kiosks increased by 18.3% over the year, reaching 28,400 units. Over the past five years, this figure has grown by 3.4 times.
