Uzbekistan records over 3,000 twin births in early 2025
The National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan has released data highlighting birth trends across the country for the first two months of 2025.

According to the figures, a total of 135,914 live births were officially recorded by the Civil Registry Offices during January and February.
Breaking down the numbers, the vast majority of cases — 132,669 — were single births, accounting for the bulk of the registrations. However, the data also reveals a notable occurrence of multiple births, with 3,150 instances of twins and 95 cases of triplets or higher-order births documented during the period.
