Malaysia’s Sunview Group to invest in large-scale solar projects in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador, Karomiddin Gadoyev, met with Ong Hang Ping, CEO of the Malaysian company Sunview Group, to discuss the company's plans for renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, they reviewed the progress and future prospects of Sunview Group's involvement in the construction of solar power plants in Uzbekistan.
The Malaysian businessman announced the company's commitment to launching a 200 MW solar power plant in the Fergana region by the end of this year. Additionally, work is underway to identify suitable land plots for the construction of a 400 MW solar power plant in the Andijan region.
To facilitate these projects, two of the company's specialists are currently on a long-term assignment in Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, the company’s chairman expressed readiness to collaborate with the Uzbek side on several initiatives, including:
• Installing medium-capacity solar panels on the rooftops of large buildings under construction in New Tashkent.
• Providing renewable energy solutions (solar and wind power) for water pumping stations in the Kashkadarya region.
Sunview Group, founded in 2013, specializes in designing, constructing, commissioning, and maintaining renewable energy projects. Over the years, the company has successfully commissioned over 500 MW of solar photovoltaic power plants across Malaysia.
