At the beginning of the meeting, the minister conveyed the warm greetings and a letter from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to the President.
The discussions focused on further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade, economic, and investment-financial partnerships.
The growing activity in inter-agency and business relations was highlighted with satisfaction. The volume of bilateral trade, the number of joint ventures, and the regular business events with the participation of leading companies from both nations are all increasing.
Special emphasis was placed on expanding the portfolio of the Uzbekistan-Oman Investment Company with new cooperative projects.
The next meeting of the intergovernmental commission and a joint business forum will be held in April this year.
In addition, the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and establishing direct air connections was underscored.
The regional agenda, including preparations for the second "Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council" summit to be held in Samarkand this May, was also discussed.
