Georgia appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
The Georgian Ambassador David Kotaria has officially assumed his position following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

FM Bakhtiyor Saidov received the copies of the ambassador’s credentials.
After the credential presentation ceremony, the sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further strengthening ties. Bakhtiyor Saidov and David Kotaria outlined priority areas for cooperation.
The minister expressed his readiness to fully support the ambassador in carrying out a productive diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
