Ministry of Economy and Finance: No salary or pension increases planned any time soon
The Ministry of Economy and Finance has denied reports about an increase in salaries, pensions, and allowances, stating that such claims do not reflect reality. The ministry urged citizens to rely on official sources for accurate information.

“We inform you that the reports currently spreading on social media about a 10% increase in salaries, pensions, and allowances from March 1 and August 1, 2025, do not correspond to reality,” the statement said.
It was noted that any official information regarding salaries and pensions will be published through the official sources of relevant state bodies.
The ministry urged citizens to rely on trustworthy sources and to refrain from spreading unverified information.
It should be recalled that in Uzbekistan, pensions and allowances were last increased by 15% in September 2024. Additionally, from October 1, salaries of employees in budgetary organizations were raised by 10%, while the salaries of teachers and medical workers were increased by 15%.
Starting from September 1, 2024, the amounts of pensions and allowances were set as follows:
- The base amount for pension calculation – 428,000 UZS per month;
- The minimum old-age pension – 834,000 UZS per month;
- The minimum disability pension – 920,000 UZS per month.
