Uzbekistan and Finland prepare for economic cooperation meeting
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade and Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently held an online meeting to discuss preparations for the upcoming Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Joint Business Forum.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, the sides discussed ways to further strengthen trade, economic, and investment relations between the two countries. They also focused on the meticulous preparation for the upcoming session of the Uzbek-Finnish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Business Forum, which are scheduled to take place in Helsinki in early March this year.
To further enhance cooperation, both sides agreed to place special emphasis on finalizing investment agreements and export contracts.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to Helsinki by a delegation of legal and business representatives, led by the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
