Sherzod Asadov addresses reports of staff reductions in the Presidential Administration
The president's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov, emphasized that the process of optimizing staff units across all agencies is ongoing. However, he responded to unverified reports circulating on social media, which claimed that staff units at the Presidential Administration would be cut by at least 50%, with similar reductions expected in other state organizations, stating that no official confirmation has been made regarding such cuts.

Asadov clarified that the ongoing process of optimizing staff units applies to all levels of government and administrative bodies, from the Presidential Administration to lower-level agencies.
The primary goal of this effort is to eliminate redundant functions, enhance the efficiency of the public administration system, improve the performance of civil servants, and ensure the responsible and cost-effective use of public funds across all agencies.
The specific scale and scope of this process will only be determined after comprehensive studies and analyses are conducted.
"For this reason, we urge media outlets, bloggers, and social media users to rely solely on official sources when sharing information on this matter," Asadov stated.
