List of higher education institutions with direct diploma recognition in Uzbekistan approved
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan has published a list of the top 1000 universities, whose diplomas will be recognized without the need for additional verification.

This list includes foreign higher education institutions that have ranked within the top 1000 according to prestigious global university rankings, such as Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, Times Higher Education, and the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
The list, which is valid for 2025, will be updated annually. A total of 3004 universities are included in the new ranking.
Graduates from these top 1000 institutions will have their diplomas automatically recognized in Uzbekistan, eliminating the need for nostrification (examination for recognition).
On January 22, Times Higher Education (THE) published its World University Rankings 2025 by Subject, listing the world’s leading universities. For the first time, three universities from Uzbekistan appeared in THE’s subject rankings. These institutions are the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
