The law "On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility in Connection with the Improvement of the System of Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency" was reviewed at the third plenary session of the Senate.

The law was developed to ensure the legality of the National Guard's inspector-psychologists in schools, focusing on improving the psychological environment and preventing juvenile delinquency with parental involvement. Its adoption will enhance the National Guard's ability to protect children’s rights and legal interests more effectively.

As emphasized during the session, from February of last year until now, National Guard inspector-psychologists have identified 44,450 violations under Article 47, Part 1 of the Administrative Liability Code (failure to fulfill parental duties in the education and upbringing of children).

It was noted that administrative penalties were applied in all identified cases. Additionally, nearly 175,000 warning letters were sent to parents who failed to send their children to school.

It is important to highlight that Article 47, Part 1 of the Administrative Liability Code stipulates fines ranging from 1 to 5 times the base calculation unit for such violations.

After the discussion, the law was approved by the senators.
