Uzbekistan to establish "Cyber University" as a state institution
The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree to establish "Cyber University" as a state institution.

According to the decree, the primary objectives of the university will include the following:
- Training specialists in information protection, information and cybersecurity, digital technologies, digital economy, the development of automated information-analytical systems based on artificial intelligence, robotics, and related fields;
- Retraining and enhancing the qualifications of specialists in the field of digital technologies;
- Organizing the educational process based on advanced international practices and modern teaching technologies, as well as promoting the development of an open information and education environment;
- Creating additional opportunities for youth to gain education and acquire professions, expanding access and selection to provide government agencies, enterprises, and other organizations with qualified personnel;
- Collaborating with leading national and international higher education and research institutions, developers and consumers of digital technologies, and other sectoral enterprises in the implementation of educational and scientific projects;
- Developing educational materials for relevant fields of study and specializations, and conducting fundamental, scientific, and practical research involving students and specialists.
