Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Donald Trump on assuming U.S. Presidency, invites him to Uzbekistan
In a congratulatory message, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized interest in further developing long-term cooperation.

Today, January 21, Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on officially assuming the role of President of the United States.
In his message, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed confidence that during Donald Trump’s new presidential term, the international authority and global influence of the United States, along with its economic power and potential, would continue to grow.
Mirziyoyev highlighted the high regard Uzbekistan holds for U.S. policies aimed at supporting the country's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
"I would like to note that during your first presidential term, relations between Uzbekistan and the United States entered a new era of strategic partnership, with our dialogue reaching a higher level. We are keen on further developing long-term cooperation both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks," the message stated.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also invited Donald Trump to visit Uzbekistan.
Donald Trump took the oath of office on January 20, in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, becoming the 47th President of the United States.
