The breakdown of destinations shows that neighboring countries remain the most popular choices for Uzbek students. Tajikistan led the list with 12,809 students, followed by Russia with 8,629, and Kyrgyzstan with 3,953.
Türkiye and South Korea also attracted significant numbers, hosting 2,711 and 2,077 students, respectively. Kazakhstan received 1,589 Uzbek students during the same period.
Further afield, the United Kingdom welcomed 792 Uzbek learners, while China hosted 767. The United States and the United Arab Emirates followed with 576 and 390 students, respectively. Additionally, 1,602 students pursued their studies in other countries.
