Uzbekistan’s Ambassador presents credentials to Luxembourg’s Grand Duke
On January 7, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, Gayrat Fazilov, officially presented his credentials to Luxembourg’s Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume during a formal ceremony. The event marked a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Luxembourg.

During the meeting, the Hereditary Grand Duke expressed interest in fostering friendly relations with Uzbekistan, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. Both parties exchanged views on the potential development of bilateral ties and avenues for future cooperation.
Ambassador Fazilov assumed his diplomatic duties in Brussels on December 5, 2023. In addition to his role as Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Belgium, he also serves concurrently as the ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg. His responsibilities extend to leading Uzbekistan’s missions to the European Union (EU) and NATO. Before his current appointment, Fazilov held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
