Details regarding delivery timelines and the operational launch of the trains will be disclosed following the conclusion of the tender process.
This marks a significant development in Uzbekistanās commitment to enhancing its railway infrastructure. āThis tender represents a substantial step forward in modernizing Uzbekistanās railway infrastructure, reaffirming the nationās dedication to efficient and sustainable transport solutions,ā said Tahirov, an official representative.
Additionally, on December 3 this year, a new high-speed electric train service was launched between Tashkent and Khodjikent. Ticket prices for adults are set at 20,000 UZS, while childrenās tickets cost 11,500 UZS.
Earlier, Kun.uz reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev traveled to Khodjikent on the new electric train.
