“The agenda of our meeting was extensive, covering all areas of partnership. We emphasized the need to catch up on missed opportunities in strengthening our bilateral relations and dynamic exchanges. New objectives have been set, plans for next year discussed, and agreements reached to enhance interaction between the business communities of our countries,” Saidov wrote on his official Telegram channel.

The meeting follows their earlier discussions in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in late September, where the ministers expressed readiness to establish a closer political dialogue, boost trade and investment cooperation, and promote cultural ties and public diplomacy.

Uzbekistan has been actively advancing its diplomatic engagement with Croatia. In November, Oybek Shakhavdinov, Uzbekistan's first ambassador to Croatia, presented his credentials to Croatian President Zoran Milanović, further solidifying diplomatic ties.
