Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Belgium extends role to the Netherlands
Uzbekistan's ambassador to Belgium, Gayrat Fazilov, has officially taken on additional responsibilities as the ambassador to the Netherlands.

On November 21, Fazilov presented copies of his credentials to Hans Akkermans, Director of the Protocol and International Affairs Department at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the “Dunyo” news agency.
During their meeting, Hans Akkermans reaffirmed the Protocol Department's commitment to supporting the activities of Uzbekistan's Embassy. He also expressed readiness to enhance bilateral dialogue between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in various areas.
Fazilov has been actively engaged in strengthening Uzbekistan's diplomatic presence in Europe. On November 14, he presented his credentials to Charles Michel, President of the European Council, as the head of Uzbekistan’s mission to the European Union. Earlier this year, on February 7, he officially presented his credentials to King Philippe of Belgium during a ceremony in Brussels, marking the start of his tenure as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Belgium.
