President Mirziyoyev extended his gratitude to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov for hosting the summit with traditional hospitality and a high level of organization.

During his address, Mirziyoyev denounced efforts to limit the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and called for an internationally supported solution to the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He emphasized that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, based on the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital, remains the only viable resolution to the crisis.

Mirziyoyev expressed hope that the upcoming Arab-Muslim summit in Riyadh would result in a political solution to the conflict.

Addressing the issue of Afghanistan, he stressed that the OTS should maintain focus on the situation in the country. Mirziyoyev proposed establishing regular dialogue mechanisms at the ministerial and expert levels to support Afghanistan’s government and integrate the country into regional economic processes. He also highlighted the importance of implementing social and infrastructure projects in Afghanistan.
